Syracuse Begins Largest Housing Project in Over 20 Years

syracuse-new-housing-developmentThree brand new homes have just been built out of 33 contemporary-style homes that are going to be built in Xavier Woods, a 6.5-acre development in the south part of the city. It will be the largest subdivision built in Syracuse in over 20 years.

This is a true rarity, not only due to the historically struggling economy (now turning around), but also due to most of the land around the city already having been developed.

Xavier Woods is being built on a formerly land-locked piece of property, and may soon pave the way for a revitalization of the surrounding neighborhoods.

The homes in Xavier Woods will range from 1,400 square feet to 2,300 square feet and will be priced from $270,000 to approximately $300,000, according to the builder’s website.
