The 18th Annual Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas will start on Thursday, June 18th, 2015, and last until Sunday, June 21st, at Independence Park, 300 Hawthorne Lane.
The kids cultural camp will cost $5, in addition to any food, rides, or souveneirs you would like to purchase
Juneteenth is a celebration commemorating the emancipation of African Americans from slavery in the United States.

World Refugee Day Charlotte celebrates the cultures and contributions of these refugees with cultural performances, awareness activities, and information booths for groups working in the refugee community in Charlotte.
