A Nashville man has just been arrested after police say he grabbed a woman’s face and pulled a sword on her during a disturbing confrontation at a bus stop.
According to an affidavit, the incident happened May 7 on Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville.
Investigators say Gregory Bohanon Jr. approached the woman and attempted to speak with her. When she told him she was not interested, police say he became aggressive.
The woman told officers Bohanon grabbed her vape, threw it across the street, and then allegedly pulled out a sword while grabbing her face.
Fearing for her safety, she pushed him away before Bohanon reportedly fled toward a nearby apartment complex.
A witness corroborated the woman’s account and helped police identify the suspect.
Authorities later arrested Bohanon in Davidson County. He now faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
