In the heart of downtown Tampa, tragedy struck near the iconic Armature Works as gunfire left four individuals injured. Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw disclosed that the incident unfolded Tuesday afternoon near the 1900 block of North Ola Avenue. Initially, a “disturbance” between two groups quickly escalated into violence, disrupting the peace of the popular gathering spot. As the community grapples with the shock, authorities are ramping up efforts to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure justice for the victims.
At 4:08 pm, the Tampa Police Department responded to the report of a shooting in the 1900 block of N. Ola Ave., near Armature Works. One victim was reported to be shot in the arm.

Of the four victims, three sustained gunshot wounds, while the nature of the injuries sustained by the fourth individual remains unspecified. Fortunately, all victims reportedly have non-life-threatening injuries. Expressing his dismay over the incident, Chief Bercaw remarked on the stark contrast between the violent outburst and the typically family-friendly environment of the area.
