The Coastal Carolina Fair officially kicks off today in Ladson (between Summerville and Goose Creek), offering a petting zoo, live shows, exciting rides, and more fried food than you can imagine.
It will run daily until Sunday, Nov. 5, starting at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon.
This year the fair will have numerous parking improvements, including an additional vehicle gate for inbound traffic Eastbound from Summerville on Hwy 78.

Attendees should note that only clear bags, no larger than 12x12x6 inches, are permitted. This includes clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags, as well as one-gallon Ziploc-type bags. Exceptions are in place for inspected medical necessities.
