Nashville travelers have a new option for reaching Paris without changing planes: Air France plans to begin nonstop service between BNA and Paris-Charles de Gaulle on May 14, 2027, with flights three days a week.
The airport celebrated the route’s official announcement October 14, the same date Air France set for ticket sales to open. The flights are planned for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays aboard an Airbus A350-900.
There is a Music City detail in the timetable, too. The Paris-to-Nashville service will use flight number AF046, a tribute to Dolly Parton’s birth year, 1946. The Nashville-to-Paris flight is AF047.
The published schedule, in local time
Air France’s route announcement lists these times:
- Nashville to Paris, AF047: depart BNA at 6:55 p.m.; arrive at Charles de Gaulle at 10:15 a.m. the following day.
- Paris to Nashville, AF046: depart Charles de Gaulle at 2:10 p.m.; arrive at BNA at 4:40 p.m. the same day.
All times are local to the airport. That next-day arrival is important when choosing a hotel check-in date or arranging to meet someone in Paris. The service is part of the airline’s summer 2027 expansion, so travelers should check the exact operating date and itinerary before booking.
With only three scheduled operating days each week, this is a different planning proposition from a daily route. A Monday, Wednesday or Friday departure may fit one trip perfectly while another itinerary still works better with a connection.
Why it matters beyond a Paris vacation
For Middle Tennessee residents, the benefit is starting an international trip at their home airport without a separate connecting flight to reach Paris. In its October 14 announcement, BNA also points to onward connections through Air France’s Charles de Gaulle hub to destinations across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Those onward journeys still require a connection in Paris. A nonstop BNA-CDG flight should not be confused with nonstop service to every city in the airline’s network.
The Dolly tribute also connects the route to a local cultural story. GlobalFlare recently covered Nashville’s newly opened Dolly museum, which gives visitors another way to explore her life and work.
A nearer-term BNA change to know
For anyone flying sooner, the airport has a separate parking change starting October 20. Terminal Garage 1’s entrance will close, with garage entry and exit routed through Terminal Garage 2. Drivers can still reach Garage 1 using connections on levels 2-6.
BNA says parking capacity is not changing under that temporary arrangement. Follow the airport’s signs and allow extra time while learning the new route. It is an immediate change to watch this month, even though the Paris flights themselves do not begin until next May.
