Nashville’s Parthenon is trading its usual museum atmosphere for DJs, costumes, and an adults-only Halloween party—and the opening hour comes with an advertised $3 drink special.

Centennial Park Conservancy announced Night at the Museum on October 8. The party is scheduled for Friday, October 30, from 8 p.m. to midnight inside the Parthenon.

For anyone looking for a Halloween outing built around a recognizable Nashville landmark, this offers a different setting for the evening: after-hours access, music, and Greek mythology with a darker twist.

What happens inside

The museum’s event listing names DJs Guy Fell and Anthony Poli, plus solo and couple costume contests. The program also includes tarot readings, a photo booth, local vendors, and an after-dark tour exploring spooky Greek myths and stories connected to the building.

Costumes are strongly encouraged. The conservancy’s announcement says contest prizes include front-row seats to a future Candlelight Concert at the Parthenon.

This is an adults-only special event. The published listings use that description without establishing a more specific minimum age in the text reviewed for this article; check the ticket conditions before purchasing.

What the ticket buys

Advertised admission is $30 for an individual or $50 for a couple. Food is included, with catering identified in the announcement as B’yond Catering.

The couple price works out to $25 per person, a $10 total difference from buying two individual tickets at the stated price. Check the checkout page for the final total and any ticket fees.

A cash bar is advertised, and the $3 drink offer runs from 8 to 9 p.m. That is the opening hour of the event, so anyone planning around the special should pay attention to the time window.

The announcement says proceeds benefit Centennial Park Conservancy, the nonprofit that supports the Parthenon and Centennial Park in partnership with Metro Parks.

Where to go and what to check

The Parthenon is at 2500 West End Avenue in Centennial Park, according to the museum’s visitor FAQs. Special-event admission should be checked through the party’s ticket listing rather than assumed from ordinary museum entry.

The official event page links directly to Eventbrite. Check that page for availability, entry conditions, and updates before making plans. The information above reflects the advertised program reviewed October 12.

For a group deciding where to spend Halloween Eve, the useful comparison is the full outing: admission, included food, the bar, and the chance to experience the museum after dark. The venue itself is a big part of the draw.

The party ends at midnight as Halloween begins, making the date easy to mix up: arrive Friday, October 30, for the event that runs into Saturday, October 31.
