Charleston Police Asking For Public’s Help In Finding Hit-and-Run Suspect That Killed 2 Pedestrians


The Charleston Police Department is now asking for the public’s help in finding a hit-and-run suspect that caused the death of 2 pedestrians this morning.

The crash occurred on Morrison Drive, with Public Information Officer Chris Stinson confirming that the report was received at 8:32 a.m. However, the exact time of the accident has not yet been determined.

The Major Accident Investigation Team from the Charleston Police Department responded to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, one northbound lane on Morrison Drive has been closed between Harris and Cooper Streets.

At this time, no details regarding the identities of the deceased individuals have been disclosed.
