Country music sensation Morgan Wallen faced felony charges following an incident where he allegedly threw a chair from a rooftop bar in downtown Nashville.
On Sunday, April 7, around 10:53 p.m., police officers stationed in front of Chiefs Bar on Broadway witnessed a chair being thrown from above, landing about three feet away from them. Bar staff identified Morgan Wallen, 30 years old, as the person responsible for the act.
Video evidence reviewed by officers showed Wallen throwing an object over the six-story rooftop, with witnesses confirming his actions. Wallen was arrested and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment, relating to the nearby officers and public safety, as well as disorderly conduct.
He was taken into custody and booked into Metro Jail early Monday, charged with felony counts of reckless endangerment and for the danger to the public, the arrest report stated. Wallen was also charged with disorderly conduct. Chiefs Bar, owned by Eric Church, celebrated its grand opening on April 5, having previously been the location of Cotton Eyed Joe.
