The North Charleston Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday evening.
Officers were dispatched to the scene following a report of gunfire at approximately 6:20 P.M. in the 7700 block of Allwood Street, located in the Forest Hills area.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officials discovered a male victim who had sustained gunshot wounds.
The North Charleston Police Department reported that the injured individual was promptly taken to a hospital to receive medical care.
