How deep into South Carolina hurricane force winds will penetrate is still to be determined, but at this time, Hurricane Matthew is strengthening in the warm waters of the Caribbean.

Hurricane Matthew pummeled towns, farmlands and resorts in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Many are now calling Hurricane Matthew the worst humanitarian crisis to hit Haiti since 2010 massive earthquake.

At least eleven people in Haiti were killed as the storm passed, it also knocked out communication for most of the island, left a key bridge impassable, downed trees, blocked roads and washed out bridges. Officials now fear that the death toll will continue to rise.
