Today, thousands of Uber and Lyft drivers are staging protests at airports in Tampa and Orlando, joining a nationwide movement for better pay and job security.
Organized by Justice for App Workers, demonstrations are planned throughout the day in cities like Chicago; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; Miami; Hartford, Connecticut; Newark, New Jersey; Austin, Texas; and Providence, Rhode Island.
TOMORROW, workers across the country are going on strike to demand higher pay, better safety protections, and more.
We will refuse rides from the airport ALL DAY, with a rally from 11am-1pm in 10 cities.

In Tampa, drivers will boycott from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., advocating for unionization, healthcare, and fair treatment.
Despite the strikes, Uber expects minimal disruption, citing existing fair wages. However, drivers persist in their demands for improved conditions and due process rights.
