Firefighters in Tampa worked for hours on Tuesday night to extinguish a brush fire that led to the closure of a section of Morris Bridge Road.

Tampa Fire Rescue responded to the blaze around 7:45 p.m. in Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Park. Smoke and flames were visible from Morris Bridge Road.
It took about two hours for the crews to bring the fire under control. Traffic in the area was diverted during the firefighting efforts.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
