The legendary Heavy’s Barburger is about to open a new location in the rapidly growing Daniel Island neighborhood this summer in the former space of Laura Alberts Tasteful Options.
Named after John Haire’s grandfather, affectionately known as “Heavy,” the restaurant first debuted in 2022 at 1137 Morrison Drive. Heavy’s Barburger will serve a delectable array of burgers, salads, soups, wings, chicken tenders, fries, onion rings, desserts, and more, preserving the nostalgic ambiance of its predecessor with family-style seating and vintage sound systems.
Community-style tables will grace both the indoor and patio dining areas, with plans for private event hosting in the future. This new addition promises to be a vibrant gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.
