State authorities are actively seeking Fredy Antonio Gonzales Gamboa, a 30-year-old resident of Dorchester County, for alleged illegal possession of firearms.
Gonzales Gamboa faces two charges of firearm possession by an unlawful alien, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
The search intensified after the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office received a call for assistance regarding a warrant service at Lewisfield Drive in the Archdale neighborhood on March 19 at 8 a.m.
Gonzales Gamboa fled from a traffic stop carried out by officers from the Enforcement and Removal Operations unit earlier that morning. Subsequently, his vehicle was located at his residence on Lewisfield Drive. Despite two thorough searches of the premises by the SWAT team, Gonzales Gamboa remains at large.
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to promptly contact their local law enforcement agency.
