With the increase of Christian movies and TV shows in America, it seems that more and more celebrities are becoming more open about their faith, in spite of what that faith might do for their career.
Hollywood is a tricky place to hold a strong religious stance or viewpoint. Often, actors are told to keep their faith to themselves to avoid isolating any one particular audience.
Given that, it was quite surprising when Mark Wahlberg came forward to boldly discuss his faith and strong trust in God and in prayer, especially on the Jimmy Kimmel show;
