President Joe Biden is set to return to South Carolina again this month after visiting Charleston earlier this week. He’ll be coming as the special guest at the South Carolina Democratic Party’s celebration dinner set for January 27.
This dinner is a traditional event held every primary season, attended by candidates, local officials, and community members. This year’s dinner will also feature prominent guests like Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison and Representative Jim Clyburn. Presidential hopefuls Marianne Williamson and Congressman Dean Phillips have been invited as well.
The event is scheduled to take place at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds.
The evening will commence at 5 p.m. with a general and chair’s reception, followed by the main event at 6 pm.
