The University of Tampa’s women’s lacrosse team clinched the national championship, securing their first title in program history. The Spartans triumphed over Adelphi (NY) with a 13-8 victory in Winter Park on Friday.
The team completed their championship-winning season with an impressive 19-3 overall record, finishing on an 11-game winning streak.
