Get ready, Tampa Bay! The chilly days are behind us, and a wave of warmth is about to sweep over the region, transforming our weather experience.
Temperatures are set to climb rapidly, for those planning outdoor activities, it’s time to relish milder afternoons with temperature reaching a comfortable 70 degrees today, just a degree below the average.
The overnight lows near 60 will make for a significantly warmer night, and tomorrow’s forecast promises even higher temperatures, soaring into the mid-70s.
The breeze, coming in from the east at 10 to 20 mph, adds to the pleasant weather.
Keep an eye out for a few passing showers late tomorrow, with a 30% chance of rain.
However, the warming trend remains steadfast, some areas may even reach a delightful 80 degrees by the middle of the week, marking a significant shift from the recent chill.
While rain chances stay slim on these days, the Gasparilla Parade on Saturday looks set to be warm, with only a slight chance of rain.
As the weekend progresses, a cold front is expected to pass on Sunday, bringing scattered showers. Despite this, the overall trend is pointing towards a much warmer and pleasant week for Tampa Bay residents.
