Get ready, Charleston! The beloved Taste of Folly festival is back, offering a chance to savor the best of Folly Beach’s food and drink scene.
Kick off the festivities on Friday, Jan. 19, with the Taste of Folly Cocktail Competition at the Tides Hotel’s Pavilion Ballroom (1 Center St.) from 6 to 9 p.m. Join Folly Beach’s finest mixologists as they whip up unique craft cocktails, accompanied by delicious appetizers. Advance tickets are $40, or $50 at the door, and you must be 21 or older to join in.
The culinary celebration continues with Savory Saturday on Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Center Street will transform into a bustling hub of activity, with local restaurants showcasing their top dishes and culinary prowess through live demos.
Savory Saturday highlights include:
- Hot dog eating and oyster shucking contests
- Server Olympics
- One Pot Showdown
- A chili cook-off
- Live music, over 50 arts, crafts, and fashion vendors, and a kids’ area
