A heat advisory is in effect Tuesday for Beaufort, Tidal Berkeley, Charleston, and coastal Colleton counties from noon to 6 p.m.
Temperatures will climb into the mid-90s, but with humidity, it will feel much hotter. The heat index could reach up to 112 degrees in the advisory areas.
It’s going to be another hot one today. Heat indices will once again reach 105-112 across the coastal corridor. In addition, high temps over interior Southeast GA could reach 100-102. Bottom line, it will be dangerously hot no matter where you’ll be today. Be safe! #scwx #gawx pic.twitter.com/bRoa3qosmN

If you’re planning on spending an extended amount of time outside this week, make sure you wear breathable clothes and consider getting a small fan, personal air conditioner, or evaporative cooling towel.
Stay safe out there!
