Charleston’s Carifest returns to celebrate Caribbean-American Heritage Month with food, music, costumes, and cultural experiences. The four-day festival runs from June 13 to June 16. Here are the event details:
- June 13, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.: Carifest Symposium at IAAM featuring Dr. Cleve Scott. Admission is free.
- June 14, 6:00 – 11:00 p.m.: Fete en Blanc – Caribbean All White Party at Magnolia Hall. Admission is $80 (BOGO).
- June 15, 4:00 p.m.: Carnival Day Parade starts on John Street. Admission is free.
- June 15, 5:00 – 11:00 p.m.: Carnival Celebration at Brittle Bank Park. Admission is $15 online, $20 at the gate.
- June 16, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Carifest Brunch – Taste of the Islands at 630 Skylark Drive. Admission is $40 online.
