In a shocking incident that has rattled St. Petersburg residents, a pedestrian lost his life early Monday after being deliberately struck by a driver, as reported by the St. Petersburg Police Department.
A man was found lying in the intersection at 7th Avenue South and 12th Street South around 2:30 a.m., prompting a 911 call for help. Despite the efforts of rescuers, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
