Since the early 1990s, Charleston’s Daniel Island has been seeing some incredible growth. The Volvo Cars and MUSC Health stadiums, dozens of retail centers, and eight distinct “park” neighborhoods have given new life to the region, but one of Daniel’s newest developments is now setting a new standard for the Island.
The newly completed Wharf 7 complex has raised the bar for southern living throughout in the lowcountry. The 312 unit community includes it’s own amphitheater, saltwater pool, community garden, and even a new dog park. It’s also connects to the new Governor’s Park and over 25 miles of trails that wind throughout Daniel Island.

In addition to Wharf 7, Daniel Island is also now in the process of building several new retails centers, including Dockery’s, a 10,000-square-foot restaurant that will offer live music and and an on-site brewery and Daniel Island Performing Arts Center, featuring a 400-seat Proscenium Theatre, rehearsal halls and spaces for social events.
