If you’ve ever been scared by an abandoned building or creepy old house, the sight of this new discovery might now haunt your nightmares. A Tennessee hiker has just stumbled on an entire village that seems to have been mysteriously abandoned years ago (photo credits – Jordan Liles);
When exploring Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Jordan Liles discovered this incredibly creepy village, and fortunately, he brought along his camera;
The village is referred to by locals as the ‘Tennessee Wonderland’, but it is actually part of a larger collection of abandoned buildings that includes ‘the Elkmont Historic District’, an abandoned town that’s just outside of the still-active Elkmont Campground.
It’s the perfect place to pitch a tent for Halloween.
