The Flying Biscuit is coming to the Charleston area early next year!

The new location in West Ashley is now scheduled for a grand opening in early January.

This isn’t just a breakfast joint; it’s a culinary haven for everyone.

The story behind this new West Ashley location is as heartwarming as their famous biscuits. Lee, the owner, has been a die-hard fan of Flying Biscuit for over two decades. Her dedication was so strong that she used to travel out of state just to savor their dishes! Now, she’s bringing her passion closer to home, realizing her dream of spreading the Flying Biscuit charm across South Carolina.

This Southern-inspired café has come a long way since its humble beginnings in Atlanta over 30 years ago. What started as a single eatery has blossomed into a chain with 29 locations, each renowned for its heavenly grits and biscuits – they bake nearly 5,000 biscuits every week!

Behind every great establishment is a story of dedication and love. Lee’s son, Cortland Whitaker, was an integral part of the Flying Biscuit family, helping run the Greenville location. His memory lives on in every biscuit baked and every plate served, following his tragic passing last October at just 28 years old.

So, Charleston, brace yourselves for a biscuit bonanza and a breakfast experience that’s about to redefine your mornings.
