Make a Splash for Charity: Join the 18th Annual Charleston Duck Race This Weekend


The 18th annual Charleston Duck Race is set to make a splash on May 4th at Guggenheim Terrace, Daniel Island, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This popular fundraiser event will feature around 30,000 rubber ducks racing to win a grand prize of $10,000. Individuals can support the event by adopting a duck for $10 each.

This year, the event is a collaborative effort among nine local Rotary Clubs, enhancing the community spirit and impact of the race. The participating clubs include:

  • Rotary Club of Daniel Island
  • Rotary Club of Cainhoy-Peninsula
  • Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant
  • Mount Pleasant Impact Rotary Club
  • Rotary Club of North Charleston
  • Rotary Club of North Charleston Breakfast
  • Rotary Club of North Charleston Breakfast Impact Club
  • Rotary Clubs of Summerville

The collective efforts of these clubs aim to raise significant funds and awareness for various community projects and charitable causes.
