Vice President Harris Coming To Charleston Today

US Vice President Kamala Harris is coming to Charleston today to speak at the College of Charleston.

The visit is part of her dynamic “Fight for Our Freedoms” college tour.

“This generation is critical to the urgent issues that are at stake right now for our future,” said Vice President Harris. “It is young leaders throughout America who know what the solutions look like and are organizing in their communities to make them a reality. My message to students is clear: We are counting on you, we need you, you are everything.”

The Vice President will be taking the stage at the Sottile Theatre on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, at 1 pm.

Expect heavy traffic delays throughout Downtown Charleston today.
