Movement Mortgage is now moving its headquarters from Virginia Beach to Lancaster County.
The company will be spending over $22 million to build a new two-story, 104,000-square-foot facility in Bailes Ridge Business Park on S.C. 160., with construction set to start this month. The company says the $22 million move will bring 650 new jobs to South Carolina.
Former Carolina Panthers tight end Casey Crawford, founder and CEO of Movement Mortgage, says the Rock Hill region is appealing because of the large number of financial service professionals and proximity to Charlotte and Columbia.
Crawford says the company is on track to process more than $6 billion in home loans this year.
