Charleston’s High Rise Halts THC Hemp Beverage Distribution in South Carolina Due To New Regulations

Charleston’s High Rise Beverage Co, a company specializing in hemp-infused beverages, has temporarily halted its distribution in South Carolina as of February 5th.

This decision stems from recent uncertainties surrounding the labeling standards set by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).

In response, High Rise is actively working to comply with DHEC’s updated regulations. During this pause, the company is launching a new product line, “Blackout Edition,” which will exclude hemp and THC ingredients.

In a press release, the company said it will resume its original distribution activities in South Carolina once it fully aligns with the state’s revised labeling requirements.
