Pins Mechanical is set to expand its presence in Charlotte with a second location in Optimist Park, slated to open in late 2025. Rise Brands, the parent company, has secured over 20,000 square feet for the new venue. This space includes the ground floor of the historic Chadbourn Mill and the boiler room building.
The new Pins Mechanical venue will offer a blend of old-school entertainment and modern cocktails. Guests can enjoy duckpin bowling, pinball machines, bocce ball, ping pong, and classic arcade games such as Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, and Space Invaders. Additionally, the location will feature an outdoor gathering space for various activities and year-round programming.
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Rise Brands owns and operates several entertainment concepts, including Pins Mechanical, No Soliciting, and 16-Bit Bar + Arcade. The company currently has nine locations, with six more in development.
This new venue in Optimist Park follows the success of the first Pins Mechanical location in South End, which opened in 2019 and spans 23,000 square feet.
