For the first time in history, a local Albany company is helping NASA, the largest space exploration program in the world. They’re going to be helping NASA with their upcoming mission to Mars.
A small Albany-based electrical company called ‘A. West Enterprise’ just secured an unprecedented contract with NASA to help upgrade their mission control electrical infrastructure.
They will be the first company to engage in a major overhaul of NASA’s mission control circuitry in over 30 years.
Besides the incredible notoriety and fame, the Albany company, with only about 60 employees, will also be receiving over $9 million for the work.
