After 11 successful years, the Tomato Art Fest is back, and they’re now planning more extravagance than ever before.
It’s proved so popular that it’s now one of Nashville’s signature events for hip and urban crowds throughout the city.
This years festivities will kick off on August 8th with a parade, followed by plenty of concerts on two stages, tons of food trucks, live art, vendors, and plenty of other fun.
This year’s parade will take a slightly different spin as floats must be pulled, pushed, carried or worn. The parade begins at 9 a.m. Entries for the parade are limited, but it’s free to participate.
If you want to get involved outside of the parade, you can also join the Tomato King & Queen contest, Kids Tomato Art Show opening reception, East Nashville Tomato 5K, kids tomato art exhibit, or enter the beautiful tomato contest.
