This afternoon, the Charleston City Police will be holding a massive event in an attempt to bridge the gap between the community and local police.
The event is now being called “Breaking Down Barriers” it will be held this afternoon Brittlebank Park from 1pm – 4pm.
The event will feature tons of giveaways, live music and plenty of food for the community.
Kids will be given buddy cards with cops and will be eligible to win a free bike.
