This exciting development has been confirmed by the property owner and is set to revitalize the former Islamic Center of Charleston near the popular Harbinger Café & Bakery. It will include a 500-square-foot interior space perfect for intimate dining and socializing, complemented by a 520-square-foot covered outdoor patio for those perfect Charleston evenings.
Joey Goetz, renowned for his mixology skills at The Belmont downtown until 2020, is making a triumphant return to King Street. His departure from The Belmont was driven by the area’s evolving dynamics, leading him to co-create Bar George. Goetz’s knack for successful collaborations was evident in Last Saint, a joint effort with Brandon Bramhall and Zac Pease, known for their work with Attaboy in New York and Nashville.
While the details of Goetz’s partners in this new endeavor remain under wraps, the buzz is building. With permit applications in motion and support from Barrier Island Engineering and Montana Development, this project is quickly gaining momentum.
