This morning we learned an incredible thing – two Ellen DeGenereses are actually better than one!
Ellen’s SNL double (Kate McKinnon) came on her show in a hilarious monologue battle to see which Ellen knew the true Ellen better;
Right befor Kate came on stage, the real Ellen started commenting on Kate; “I love her so much. She impersonates me on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ She’s beautiful, she’s smart, she’s charming, she’s hilarious — she’s me, is what she is, she really is hilarious, but it’s weird to have somebody do impressions of you because you hear it and you’re like, ‘Well, that’s such an exaggeration. I mean, it’s funny, but it doesn’t sound like me at all.'”
Then suddenly, Kate appeared on stage dressed exactly like DeGeneres and stole the show for the opening monologue – after several minutes of hilarity, they both dance together up into the stage.
