When most people think of bistro-style breakfast dining, they usually don’t think of Waffle House. One location in New Orleans might start to change that.
A new Waffle House has just been approved by New Orleans city zoning on Canal Street, but the plans for this one include a full-sized outdoor courtyard, complete with an ornate wrought-iron fence. The exterior construction will also feature a unique brick stucco design to make the atmosphere more ‘New Orleans’.
The proposed 24-hour Waffle House at 2500 Canal St., just a block down the road from a local favorite, Betsy’s Pancake House, and just up the road from the newly renovated $2 billion hospital complex.
What do you think about the new concept?
